Our dedicated clinic is specifically designed for our up and coming paddlers. The small group size ensures that you will have quality time spent with the instructor learning the basics of kayak control, safety and paddle techniques, even the correct way to load and tie down a kayak to the roof racks of a car. Jervis Bay Kayak & Paddlesports has an emphasis on safety and fun, what better way to be set off in the right direction while getting the kids out on the water.

The location will be in the protected flat water environment of Currambene Creek Huskisson, where there is an abundance of wildlife to discover. Our highly knowledgeable guides will be more than happy to share their information about the local wildlife and environment while ensuring our future paddlers are comfortable getting out and enjoying a new sport. If fishing is your thing just let us know and time can be spent demonstrating what to look for in a kayak and how to set it up for hassle free fishing.

We use double sit on top kayaks for easy paddling. Quality paddles and PFD’s are provided, along with thermal tops and paddle jackets if required due to cooler weather.

Participants are required to be able to swim 25m and be 10-14 years of age. A parent or legal guardian will be required to be present at the start of the activity to sign a waiver enabling the kids to participate (and no, you don't need to hit the water, that's our job!). Waivers are available from the store if you are arranging a car pool for completion prior - just give us a call.
